Today it's the release of my new debut album "Stay a while" with my trio Simon Westman Trio. The album is dedicated to my mother, who passed away in cancer in May 2018, and her death also affected my music a lot. Hopefully she can hear the music from the sky, and hopefully you also want to listen (if not from the sky, so at least from the "cloud", e g Spotify, Apple Music etc:)
Tonight there will also be a chance to hear us live, at Unity Jazz Club in Gothenburg. We will have our release concert there (maximum 50 people) and we will also live stream the concert.
Thanks to my fellow musicians Magnus Bergström and Magnus Gran for making this record possible, and for playing my music in such a great way.
